Today we're extremely glad to announce that VEQ has increased ownership stake in forestry software company Ecotype in an internal financing together with other existing co-investors.

The funding will be used to support roll-out together with large industrial customers on the Swedish market, as well as for international expansion.

We have increased our ownership stake to close to 15% in the company and increased our engagement even further. All existing investors participated in the financing which speaks to the strength and promise of this young company.

Founded in 2020, Ecotype specializes in digital solutions for the forestry industry. The core of the company's offering goes by the name "Skogshubben" in Sweden. Skogshubben is a software platform that instantly let's forestry companies, private forest owners, or other stakeholders see all data on their forest property including a real time digital forestry plan with cash flow forecasts, financial value of the forest, CO2 impact and much much more.
